FXYLSU’s first annual Film Festival, held on April 16, 2025 in partnership with LSUMOA and the Manship Theatre, showcased 25 films to an audience of over 150. The event featured a dynamic panel of speakers and interactive live audience voting.

November 16th and 17th, 2024, Members of FXYLSU were sent to Los Angeles, California to provide media coverage for the 10th Camp Flog Gnaw.

On November 9, 2024, FXLSU hosted BOILA ROUXM—an interactive tailgate featuring challenges, five DJs, great food, and more. The event was held in partnership with Red Cup LSU and PNE Boys, with sponsorship from KOK, Empire Wings, Big Cheezy, and Fred’s Bar & Grill.

The FXY Dance Project is an ongoing initiative offering weekly lessons at BRAC for both new and advanced dancers, founded by LSU alumna Violet Ruiz and now led by president Isaiah Bennett. With its first showcase set to debut in the 2025-2026 school year, the project brings together a diverse community of dancers, fostering growth, creativity, and collaboration.

On November 16, 2024, at the Barnes Ogden Gallery, FXLSU hosted Intarsia*—an event showcasing eight artists working in a variety of mediums, including sculpture and photography, alongside live music.

Future X Youth’s inaugural “Art & Sound Debut” at LSU took place on September 4th, 2024 in Free Speech Alley, featuring a showcase of local artists and a live DJ set. The event welcomed new and returning members, connecting them with both the student and Baton Rouge art communities, and marked the group’s dynamic introduction to LSU’s creative scene.
